XDA Orbit II
The Orbit 2 is O2’s version of the HTC Touch Cruise, with a slightly different case and with a number of features to distinguish it from its predecessor the XDA Orbit. Most important for many will be the addition of 3G and HSDPA data (up to 3.6 Mbps), bringing higher data speeds to the device.
One of the best new features is TouchFLO, which has been inspired in no small way by the iPhone. This system allows the handset to tell whether you are using a stylus or your finger on the touchscreen and causes the response to change accordingly, meaning you can scroll through lists and documents using a sweep of the finger.
IPhone
The new version of the APPLE smart phone do have tackled the single major compliant; the lack of 3G which is quite common among its competitors. The phone is more user friendly with its wide touch screen and the Safari web browser. Usage of the internet and the regular use of call making makes the phone more potential for all kinds of usage. This second generation iPHONE makes it truly a fantastic multimedia device.
It also includes very interesting and powerful new features in its updation. There is the GPS which is combined with Google maps and the wide display screen is very useful for satellite navigation. The audio and video downloads are greatly supported by the 3G. The new App Store helps one to browse and download an array of third party applications directly to the iPhone. These new features of Apple iPhone 3G also supports high speed 3G networks with an expanded e mail. There is an improved call quality also.
Blackberry 8310
The BlackBerry 8310 is our favourite of the current Curve series of BlackBerries. More compact than the 88xx series, yet with a full 35-key QWERTY keypad, the Curve series treads the line between dedicated business machine and consumer-friendly smartphone. The 8310 retains the core features that made BlackBerry into a household name and indispensable business tool: full keypad and push email. It also adds some new features that make the Curve more like a multimedia smartphone: a camera, media player and GPS satellite navigation.
